Ethos, Pathos and Logos

Ethos: credibility.
Convincing your character. Be likable, thoughtful and respectful. Ethos is expert on the subject. For example, if I am going to persuade people to buy a detergent, I will use a mom to show the product.

Pathos. Emotional. The emotions you want the audience to feel. Sad, sorry, happy, scared.etc.
In the detergent example, I would want the audience to feel surprised and amazed about the product.

Logos. Logic/facts. Some facts and information about the product you are advertising.
I will use as an example the video of the girl with the "retarded" brother. She used facts such as the urbandictionary.com definition on the word.
