Audience: the new school's comunity
For our school change, we decided to change the fact that schools circle around routines.
We work in 8 periods, and I believe that should change. Our proposal is that at the end of each month, every student needs to have completed x amout of hours/ classes for each subject. It can be 4 Social Studies classes in one day, or it can be one class per week. It all depends on the student's decision. Also, the administration of the school will measure in some way or other the happyness of the students. That does not mean that we need day-long reecesses but that does mean that the teacher is not boring, mean, or agressive.
