Who Was Shakespeare? Knowing and Understanding

I watched a video on youtube titled Shakespeare: Brief and Naughty as our Knowing step.

UNDERSTANDING:
Here are the notes I did while watching the video.

Considered the best author who ever lived.
Wrote perverse jokes.
Born in 1564. parents John Shakespeare and Mary Arden
Lived in Stratford upon Avon until age 13.
1582 married Anne Hathaway.
Had Susana, Hamlet and Judeth children.
1591 moved to London age 21.
Wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets.
Shakespeare lived during the Elizabethan Era.
A lot of disease so the playhouses were shut down.
1611 Shakespeare translated Bible to English for King James I. Psalms.
People were executed publicly and their heads were put in poles.
No sanitation so dirty rivers.
Queen Elizabeth was friends with Shakespeare and inspired some plays.
Theaters were in low class neighborhoods.
Shakespeare had a lot of mistresses in brothels.
All actors were men! Even Juliet.

His work was divided into Histories, Comedies and Tragedies.

Histories was only based on English monarchy.
Comedies have happy endings.
Tragedies sad endings. Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar. Etc.
